women’s committee meets on Monday


The Women's Committee of the West Asian Football Federation meets on Monday January 6th, on the sidelines of the second waff U18 championship, that is held in Bahrain.

The meeting will take place at the "Swiss-Bel Hotel Seef" hotel in Manama at 11:00 am in the presence of the General Secretary of the West Asian Federation Khalil Al-Salem, to discuss the agenda for women's football tournaments for 2020.

Suzan Shalabi of the Palestinian Federation heads the Women's Committee, which includes Amal Bu Shalakh from the Emirates as Vice-Chairperson of the Committee, and the members Dawa Bint Khalid Al Khalifa (Bahrain), Sheikha Nora Al-Sabah (Kuwait) and Stephanie Al-Naber (Jordan).

During the meeting, issues regarding the competitions and the 2020 agenda for women's football tournaments of all ages will be discussed, as well as going over the female referees course that was held in Dubai in early December 2019, and the organization of a training course for women ranked level B.

Also, the previous meeting will be approved, in addition to setting the date and place for the sixth meeting of the committee and discussing several proposals to develop and enhance the game in the West Asia.
