Prince Ali Congratulates Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Al Faisal

His Highness Prince Ali Bin Al Hussain, President of the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF), congratulated Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Al Faisal on his nomination as President of the Union of Arab Football Associations (UAFA) for the next new period (2021-2025). 

The General Assembly of the UAFA appointed His Highness Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Al Faisal as president of the board of directors at its 26th meeting, which was held in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. 

His Highness Prince Ali said in a congratulatory message to Prince Abdulaziz Al Faisal, "The renewal of this confidence in your Highness is a deep confirmation of the great success that the UAFA has achieved under your leadership over the past period, through many programs and technical and administrative activities targeting all fields and sectors." 

His Highness and WAFF board of directors expressed "their pride for all the efforts that Prince Abdulaziz Al Faisal and the board of directors of UAFA are keen to make to raise the level of football in the arab region”, all that he aspires to achieve. 

Also, the general assembly, during its meeting, elected Saud Al Mohannadi from Qatar, Hachem Haidar from Lebanon, Abdullah Al Junaibi from UAE, and Dr. Hamid Al Shaibani from Yemen as members of the council from Asia, and the election of Engineer Hani Abu Rida from Egypt, Dr. Wadih Al Jari from Tunisia and Ahmed Weld Yahya from Mauritania, Fawzi Lakjaa from Morocco as members of council from the continent of Africa, while Samar Nassar from Jordan retained the women’s membership in the council, and Jibril Rajoub as permanent membership of the Palestine, and the general assembly approved in its first session the decision of His Highness Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Al Faisal to appoint Mr. Muhammad Rorawa as an honorary deputy for the president.
